Spotted someone’s eye-rolling post about CSD being cheesy/cringey nonsense and was tempted to reply to agree. It was never going to be cool, if anything it’s mildly irritating, the point is I wanted to create a Day and consciously picked something that people could enjoy on a simple, uncool level

It's a small thing but putting tags inside clothes is so obviously stupid it defies comprehension. I would wear everything inside out if the seams weren't designed be comfortable in the opposite direction. Fuck I hate autism.

Side note about the rook. After it had spent some time gazing into the tree top and the sky beyond with a look of wonder in its eyes, it turned to me and my camera with disdain. I swear it was channeling the Teenager - this is the exact stare they give me when I take too many photos 😆

When I was first diagnosed as #ADHD and #Autistic several years ago, I carried a lot of shame around things like fidgeting and repetitive movements. With time, I’ve learned to understand myself better and let go of that stigma. This journey is what pushed me to start making fidgets and neurodivergent-focused tools for others, and to share them online. I put a lot of care into creating thoughtful items that I hope genuinely improve people’s lives.
