The new DWM ones are also found in the wild, ie ignored until after customers owned. That example isn’t to pick on MS, my point is more.. it’s not just on customers to install patches, and it evidently won’t scale to ransomware groups growing either.
DWM probably needs a strategic fix (Rust?).. MS aren’t alone.
As a customer it feels like I’m taking crazy pills where there’s security vendors selling border gateway products with Tomcat running as root and no app allowlist rules.
After my failure with bird photography today @evilstevie has kindly offered up a wee birdy for some googley-eyeage 😀
The birds in the garden have been 100% trolling me today. Strutting around & posing until I appear with a camera when they disappear off. They were quite happy to stay if I was heading to the bins or some-such, but the camera was a no no.
Anyhow, at least I found a friendly caterpillar in the end.
*ahem*

More evidence that it is possible for anything to wear a Santa hat and look adorable.

In related news, I have realised I chat a lot more here than other places, so I thought I should offer the ability to filter the rest of my xmas nonsense with a #festiveBlether hashtag.
Basically I'm going to be watching the Muppets Christmas Carol later and that's me properly on a festive roll then.
Day 2 of the Fluffy Advent, and I was wondering why I didn't put this at day 3 as there are 3 of them, then realised I was probably wise not to go that route because if I'd started like that I would have ended up carrying on until the 24th and that would have been 300 creatures and that way madness lies.
Anyhoo. Three fluffsters for day two. Because why not?
Oh, I've just remembered I made a fluffy advent last year. I can't quite recall why, except I like fluffy things and it was an excuse to dress fluffy things in more fluffy things. Anyway, day 1!

Bonus frame from that January 2023 roll of 200T, which I am mainly posting because this little mossy dude *really* looks like he wants to become one of @eclectech's happy little characters!
