@Eetschrijver @anon_opin "gammon" is a way of preparing pork/pig. it is very very pink. our middle-aged mostly-male racists sometimes appear very pink, and so got nicknamed "gammons"
as they get pinker the angrier they get (and they are always angry) it is probably related to blood pressure.

finished up the smoked cherry tomatoes. Used cherry woodchips.
Took about six hours, at ~250 degrees. The flavor is intense and delicious. If I had a choice I'd like to see them smeared over a ritz cracker with some sharp aged cheddar or some spreadable cheese.

Saw some beautiful and inspiring quilts at the Festival of Quilts today! The motorcycle won Best Original Design, and I saw loads of techniques I'm planning to use in future. Also spoke to someone on the Quilts For Care Leavers stand, and am planning to make something for them in future.

The book contract I signed a few days ago has a "no genAI" clause. Neither I, the author, nor the editor/publisher are allowed to use genAI. I am extremely happy about having that written officially in the document!
