The unforced errors and unnecessary pain makes it so much worse.
It really has been a delightfully springlike weekend. Found flowers on a riverside walk, the first of the Mossy Lawn Primroses, and managed to start the post-winter garden tidying. The sun is setting now, and the garden is glowing. All very satisfactory and restorative.
I am aware it's not due to last, but we have to appreciate the moments.

An innocent question from @wendinoakland ("Do they ever change colours?") to which the answer WAS "No, no they don't", but I just couldn't leave it.
On the plus side it pushed me into making something, so now I feel better as I wander off to do some chores.
@jonty I scan-read that as "ream europe" at first, and it seemed bad but fitting.
"re arm europe" on the other hand, is using Bad and Wrong imagery references :/
