It's an odd feeling when you hear that people study your work (Scarfolk) at university, even that it informs their own research, and is subsequently written about in academic articles and monographs.

🎼
Now I've heard there was a secret path
The hacker typed and it pleased the app
But you don't really sanitize it, do ya?
It goes like this, dot dot, then slash
Then up a dir, no not to /trash
The filesystem "just doing what I told ya"

../. ./.. /../ ../ ../ ../

@Wildheart_Baby Ebike Badly -> Moped Wild -> Van Wilder -> Lorry Wildest

Probably getting laid off today or next tuesday, in case anyone is looking for a low latency Java developer with 20+ years in the fintech space. Solid distributed performance analysis bonafides, as well as k8s bottleneck clearing.

I once got a trading platform from 700mics median to 39 mics median in a prod environment during a multimillion dollar hardware migration. Amusingly that is probably why I will find there are no seats available for me in the next few weeks. Nothing scares establishment more than someone who understands how the machines work when they do not.

Anyway, keep me in mind, willing to move, but remote is pretty dang efficient. I like efficient.

it broke Worms though :/

I quite fancy not being sad or angry or frightened or anxious for a bit. We should give that a go. I reckon it would be really good.

@b0rk basically a shopping-list of things which will sooner or later break PCI compliance in some headache-inducing way and cause a whole chunk of work trying to figure out what bit of the site codebase the assessor's crying about this quarter :/

Over the years I've been hearing from folks that it's hard to remember which zines you've bought

So we built a new library website where you can see & download all your zines!

Downtown Boulder had protests on every corner of multiple streets. Like every direction you looked there were crowds of people with signs crossing every street. So it wasn't the two blocks of 200 people like here, it was more like the feeling that every pedestrian was protesting.
