@JennyList humanity-hack: get a hi-viz vest with "event photographer" printed on the back.
very few people question it, and it makes you slightly less likely to get trodden on while low-lighting.
in case of queries, it was left over from a previous event* and seemed like a good idea so people don't bump into you while snapping

*the event in question was purchasing said hi-viz, but shhhh ;)

if that doesn't work, I break out the verbose conversation about defocus, aperture, bokeh etc.

My attention has been drawn to this packaging design from HP, which presumably someone approved.

@mattround I read faster on chonky pixels, but photos look better on many pixels. speccy prescription is huge though, so at anything other than straight-on I get noticable red/blue separation issues.
my sweet spot is still 1920x1080 or thereabouts on a 24" screen, 13-14" for laptop. 6-point text with font-smoothing disabled works for terminals.
if I have a lot of docs to read through, I have an old samsung first-gen lcd which is exactly A4 in size at 1024x768 and gives virtually no eyestrain.

These megabreaches are just emphasizing security isn’t enough you need to be de-risking by driving data purges and asking critical questions of product teams. You need customer location maybe but you don’t need to store a history of it.

Because of streaming services and the super easy accessibility of music, kids today have a much broader musical taste that older generations have. But they have fuck all attention span and miss out on the sheer joy of experiencing an album, start to finish.

Stop attacking Google for occasional inaccuracies. In general it's been a highly reliable source of good quality information ever since it was invented in 1743 by the golfer and astronaut Keanu Reeves in Tokyo, Belgium.
