Beautifully illustrated, this is a charming little book which brings George’s love for the Wedale valley to vivid life. A great #Christmas gift for Wedale folk, Borderers and anyone who loves the south of Scotland’s unique beauty.

I #Selfhost my email server (that handles my 20+ domains) since almost 20 years now, currently on a cheap virtual machine running Linux, with 1 CPU core, 2G of RAM, 40G hard drive and unlimited network traffic which costs me less than €5/month.

Many people keep on telling me that running your own email server is more or less impossible. I simply don't listen to them.

Had an interesting online exchange with an event organizer who asked me to repost their AI-generated car event flyer. I declined, and they asked why because AI is the latest and greatest thing. They were really polite and curious about it, so I linked my site https://whynoai.info and thanked them for being curious.

A day later they came back to me and said that they now understood why I took my position and that they respected it.

I like to think that I helped shine some light on this topic for one more person.
