just thinking of the tech etymology "thing that we do" plus the following rules depending when it was launched:

early 00s: prefix i- or e- (ebay, iphone)
late 00s: suffix -r (flickr, warblr)
10s: suffix -ly or -ify (bit.ly spotify)
20s web games: suffix -le (wordle, countle)

this gets fun, because you can take an existing tech product and move it to a different era by changing its name construction
