A bit absorbed in my own wee world at the moment as we get sorted for The Teenager starting uni. Super happy for them, but it is a Big Thing.

It's interesting how memories of my own youthful foolishness, that had been blurred with the passing of time, have shot back into focus as I attempt to pass on parental advice. Being grown up is such a shaky facade at times 😆

I'm going to enjoy having an excuse to head into the city though. I do like a bit of culture.

I've been doing all sorts of software plumbing for a decade now, I can speak C, Java, PHP, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, even a bit of Assembly for certain architectures in a pinch.

I've been working on this piece and little else for nearly two months now. It's huge, and it feels like I'll never be done.

The paper is an old topographical map. I'm trying to create the image using the existing contour lines. I like where it's going, but not how long it's taking to get there.
