The government has responded by saying it has no evidence of #Sellafield nuclear site hacking.
The government claims (see image left) that its 'monitoring systems are robust' and is confident that 'no such malware exists on our system...'
And yet, headlines (see image right) show that the UK government's security has been breached/hacked multiple times over the past few years, most recently last year.
You can't believe a word that passes their lips.

TV pitch: Netflix's Queer Eye but the Fab 5 are #neurodivergent. They turn up at people's houses for exactly 52 mins, find the earring the owner lost years ago in 25 seconds, arrange all their possessions into alphabetical order (& memorise them), then are inadvertently rude to the owner, then leave.

The new DWM ones are also found in the wild, ie ignored until after customers owned. That example isn’t to pick on MS, my point is more.. it’s not just on customers to install patches, and it evidently won’t scale to ransomware groups growing either.

DWM probably needs a strategic fix (Rust?).. MS aren’t alone.

As a customer it feels like I’m taking crazy pills where there’s security vendors selling border gateway products with Tomcat running as root and no app allowlist rules.
