TBH, by this time I was feeling pretty poorly—too many people, too much noise, my stomach had been sick all day
Finally, the person opened the box
And was bewildered—"what... what is this? Axolotls? Pole dancing‽"
It was the best/worst gift of the day, and it was raucous in the room
Y'all, no one—no one—would fess up to bringing it in!
