Well, well, well. The Kraken has cracked. Conspiracy peddler and avid Dr. Pepper consuming wacko Sidney Powell has pled guilty in the GA RICO case to six counts of conspiracy to interfere with performance of election duties. She is likely getting a deal with prosecutors in exchange for testimony against Donald Trump. It’s a full on Heinz-57 day at Mar-a-Lago!

@SwiftOnSecurity also, why are we so badly damaged by venom of creatures for which we are not the target prey or natural threat?
an "intelligent design" approach would surely minimise the broad-spectrum agent approach which sees scuba divers hurt by a blue-ringed octopus?
unless... humans were the intended prey all along.
I, for one, welcome our new tentacled overlords, etc etc

PS If a viral report goes around saying there’s a vulnerability and you should protect yourself by turning off link previews for a couple of days, there’s really not a lot of cost to being cautious about it. I understand the desire to avoid being “a sucker” but It’s not like someone is asking you to eat a Tide Pod.

Been playing with the images I got from the 360 camera, so am going to extend this thread with some slightly more abstract images from the forest.

I maintain that dangling colourful slinkies above peoples' heads is the best use of them I've encountered; the only one that stops them getting all tangled up & an interesting photographic opportunity too.

Bottom right is my fave though.

Yesterday’s annular eclipse as viewed from a city park on the outskirts of Hondo, #Texas. There was a broad layer of high clouds when we arrived but luckily they broke up & blew away just in time for the main event. Had to get up in the wee hours and drive 225 miles (362 km) west to get right in the center of the path but it was well worth it.

More from the Plague Ships series.

Cruise liners sat just off the south Devon coast for 18 months during Covid. At first they were a magnificent sight but, after weeks and then months passed, their presence became more and more malevolent.

Godlessness (Linux users) is at an all-time high. We need to address the capability gap in our hearts.

@RyeNCode @SwiftOnSecurity used to be ln -f defaulted now it's just ln -s for the majority of users.
logical thinking, eh?

@SwiftOnSecurity within Linux God exists, but possibly only as a file-descriptor.
