@evilstevie I know, right! The Real World is virtually unplayable right now.
@eclectech jeebus, that is one really short render-distance.
have you tried reducing the resolution a bit or letting your system cool down a bit?
/s - I've walked into clouds where 'feet' was a realistic visible range before now
@stavvers or a small, localised fire would do
@35millimetre sorry, housemove happened and the baby mastodon server was offlined :'(
Casio WQV-1 watch - 120x120 greyscale camera.
everything transfers off via irda so I need to get something up and running with a serial port for the adaptor, and a Win2k ish VM for the software...
also it eats CR2032 batteries happily every couple of months, from memory.
What struck me most about those who rioted was how long they waited. The restraint they showed. Not the spontaneity, the restraint. They waited and waited for justice and it didn’t come. No one talks about that.

My husband had to wait for 6 years to capture this view of #TheNeedles.
Taken as the #moon set at 4.30 am last summer. This shot is only possible a couple of times each year. He almost had it in 2016 but it was slightly too breezy and the telephoto lens couldn't keep in focus.
It causes controversy as some think it's fake, I promise you that it is not. It involved much research, persistence and luck with the weather! It's the cover shot on our 2024 calendar #IsleofWight #photography

@35millimetre oooh, just found the "rules."
damnit, I have a loreo plastic lens that would be amazing for this, but my a700 is a bit too megapixelly to count.
right, time to hunt out the wristcam and find my usb-serial lead that doesn't have a console cable bolted onto it for the infra-red transfer stuff. also win95 for the software, I think.
oh my.
@35millimetre pretty sure I can get a fresh battery into my old Casio wristcam...
120x120 greyscale is challenging but fun
@35millimetre hmm, are there any restrictions on digital cameras, provided they are shit enough (for modern standards, at least)?
