@b0rk also I like to take notes on my tools, especially as i learn new things about them and i include any useful examples I find.
That way i can consult my notes when I use the tool and not have to figure it out from the docs or from scratch.
Having my own set of examples is important because they are relevant to my workflows and fit with the other tools I use everyday.

@b0rk I tend to learn new tools best when I "have a gap to fill" needs-wise. certainly scripting-wise and for automation. I fill the gap first, then expand out with the tool to see if it fits elsewhere any better than my existing options.
