Thank you to everyone who boosts these dumb little ads I write. It is all that keeps me out of a ditch, slurping the moisture out of rocks for sustenance.
Why mask?
Before covid i used to get sick 2 or 3 times a year, knocked out for a week or two each time.
Since then i've been consistently masking indoors and on public transit. It's been about 7 years since the last time i was sick. I think i gotten sniffles twice since then, barely lasting a day, and that's it.
So this little habit have accumulated me about 6 months of extra quality lifetime, and counting.
That's one reason.

"We are treating AI like an omniscient research partner when it is actually just an extremely fast librarian with a severe hallucination problem."
A lot of devs are obviously struggling with complex communication problems currently, so as someone with a modest linguistics background, I offer this helpful template:
"We do not allow LLM generated code in our project's codebase."
I give away all IP rights to the above sentence. It is free to use and reproduce.
(last year someone raged about it being embarrassing twee Britishness nonsense and yes, that’s kind of the point, I wanted to establish a ‘day’ and deliberately picked something extremely trivial & uncool. I would probably find it mildly annoying if I hadn’t invented it!)
