Multiple GNOME contributors have told me that they feel it is pointless to vocally oppose the use of generative tooling and that they feel it is just a matter of time before a pro-slop policy is officially adopted by GNOME.
I want you all to know that the relentlessly anti-AI stance is the popular opinion. If you state your opposition as well, you'll be in good and plentiful company.

Golf Cart One (2026) - my new sculpture at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in LA.
A life-sized, cast-aluminium, militarised presidential golf cart, commissioned for the museum by George Lucas and based on a 1:12 scale model version I made back in 2017.
