Just popping in with a quick "hello", as I have visitors this week so am mainly offline being hostess and tour guide. Had a quick wander at the Ben Lawers Nature Reserve yesterday, home to the Best Rocky Stream and friendliest clouds.
@JennyList no real use unfortunately, but big internet hugs anyway.
Don't buy cloud-connected appliances, it's not a privacy/spam paranoia thing, you're also signing up for inevitable tech problems and no one needs more of those https://www.jeffgeerling.com/blog/2025/i-wont-connect-my-dishwasher-your-stupid-cloud
CloudSEK are doubling down on their Oracle Cloud breach reporting, despite a denial from Oracle: https://cloudsek.com/blog/part-2-validating-the-breach-oracle-cloud-denied-cloudseks-follow-up-analysis
I am still looking into this and will probably do a blog post this week. The threat actor is still dropping files everywhere and they do tend to point to a security incident at Oracle Cloud.

@greg does "Take off every Zig" delete all instances or move them up the document tree two steps?

Soundcraft Notepad series (5 or 8 or 12 channel options) have usb in/out for pc or mac connectivity. Reviews say it needs software installed on the pc to use though. Also needs mains power to drive it.
Maybe not the unicorn you seek, but hopefully a mule will jog a few memories of similarly shaped equines in people.
So I know there are tons of audio experts here, and I'm after a unicorn, or what looks like one. I want a portable mixer which outputs to a USB audio device. That is, I want to plug something which looks like a USB sound card (Phonak Roger device), into a mixer, and have that sound device receive the mixed output from the mixer. Does anyone have any ideas? Boosts would be greatly appreciated.
