"Regex is how I imagine eldritch horrors work.

You look at it and it makes no sense and it's scary.
As you stare, for a split second there is understanding. The universe expands before your eyes, reality unraveling.
Then the madness sets in."

Musk and his cyber-terrorists are now moving into IRS records. If they get away with this, that's pretty much the ballgame, folks.

BREAKING: A bunch of U.S. Digital Service employees (including me) were fired tonight. It's still unclear exactly how many. There is no visibility whatsoever into what determined who was let go. Legacy USDS (i.e., pre-DOGE) leadership was not involved in the decision about whom to let go and was not notified in advance that people were going to be fired.

Yesterday I interviewed a ridiculously clever person from @nvidia about chip design and the future of computing. We agreed that Voyager's Bio-neural circuitry is the way forward but it'll take a while. Also, I love my job.

@foone <cries in pre-HDD age>
5th computer (though first was a temp-loan Commodore Pet) in our house was an Arch A400 with (iirc) 20mb of hard disk.
first one I took apart fully was my 486 with its chonky 40mb ide drive. used to love going to sleep while defragging that thing :)

still, my phone has a terabyte of micro-sd in it today, so that's progress I guess
