gentle threat, pretend to close the door on it a few times, let it realise the metal cage stops everything else from hearing its cries.
THEN you ask it nicely to play along, or it gets incrementally longer time with more than just the light on...

A sneak peek of my almost-finished Hexie Quilt. I decided on a fleece backing (because why not make it harder on myself?!), which wrinkled to buggery, but you can't tell from the front. Just need to bind it and I'm done. #quilting
