@hypnogoria I use mine with Parker Quink in black for writing, flows nicely and dries nicely. I refill through the nib, which is a bit wasteful but a lot less messy...
really must try out different inks at some point, but never remember in time

@hypnogoria if your nib feels a little scratchy or scratchy just draw straight lines on cardboard to gently break it back in - once the black pvd coating wears through on the 'contact with paper' bit the feel changed a little on mine

@hypnogoria I have the extra-fine nibbed version of that for writing :D
very satisfying to my scrawl, highly recommended. writes a little wetter than most for the line width, which suits me well.

"Why don't people want to pay for streaming anymore?" cry the companies who split streaming into 40 different services that keep increasing in cost while randomly removing content without warning, and shoving ads into our paid services.

Yup, sure is a mystery. A real head scratcher.

A blog is a newsletter that you can run on your own server that you don’t have to share with nazis, and doesn’t have to have annoying JavaScript popups that interrupt people when they are reading things. Well worth looking into.

Major global victory in stopping illegal poaching: a tiny little European charity group managed a sting operation which resulted in the conviction of four kingpins responsible for half the global trade in endangered pangolin and other creatures. #ShareGoodNewsToo futurecrunch.com/r/cc25d1df?m=

Haha I love this Australian anti-COVID PSA.

AVOID INFECTING PEOPLE YOU DRONGOS

Edit: OK this is making numbers, and I now think it’s more than likely that this is a clever edit of the original. Welp. It’s hilarious anyway. Enjoy it for what it’s worth!

Edit: The numbers seem to have come from this article:

“People who had more than one COVID-19 infection were three times more likely to be hospitalized and twice as likely to die than those who only had one infection. Those with multiple infections were also more vulnerable to other dangerous conditions; they were 3.5 times more likely to develop lung problems, 3 times more likely to have heart conditions, and 1.6 times more likely to have brain changes requiring care than people who had only had COVID-19 once.”

There is discussion on the credibility of these numbers here: mastodon.social/@Schouten_B/11

is lemsip a tea

@stavvers do you snort a tea?
nope.
therefore lemsip is not a tea.

please note: this is not medical advice or recommendation. other cold/flu remedies and orifices for ingesting them exist.

Shutting the graphics software down for a couple of days, so one last bit of nibbly joy that I couldn't resist after @babe posted their bunny videos, then that's me.

I'm not quite sure what's happening here, but they both seem to be enjoying it so it's all good.

Have fun folks.
