Computer problems are recursive. As soon as you gain knowledge that is sufficient to solve your previous problem, you'll start using computers in more obscure ways and start getting even more obscure problems as a result.

@aldroid hmm, maybe some remote call to provoke *every* wifi-connected device containing a speaker withing earshot to Rickroll them for 30s then an anmouncement naming them as the cause, and that it doubles each time.

I'm continuing to put my favorite comics up on Mastodon. Enjoy this helpful guide to bird photography.

@demoparty_no I'd love to do this (networking monkey amongst other stuff) but... Norway?

I remember the olden days before social media, when most Internet communities were built around message boards.

Both lightly-moderated and heavily-moderated communities were fun for different reasons, but what I discovered over time was that if moderation falls below a certain point, the result is always pedophiles and Nazis.

As I predicted, #Twitter is basically a few pedophiles short of being the next 4chan.

The best thing I've seen written on Musk and Twitter is this random YouTube comment (that I can't find a way to link to directly)
