When I attend conferences I can choose not to be photographed. I'd like an opportunity to opt out of being photographed at weddings and other family events. I don't mind attending. I just prefer it when my presence is ephemeral and not backed up on Google's or Meta's servers.

@anon_opin learn to talk about "exposure triangles" and drop in that you're still learning (that works for maybe the first 10 years or so, then you might need to change your camera and claim to be learning a new camera system instead). appear to take photos of odd things (like a champagne glass before the toast to the couple) to maintain the cover.
