gah, fridge freezer has packed in after limping through heatwaves, now to face the modern nightmare that is trying to assess quality & value when reviews are a spammy mess and many major brands have turned shoddy

@mattround our old Smeg one was a tank, lasted over a decade and one house move. door seals perishing eventually ended it as it was a nightmare to replace them (disassembly of entire doors... without fasteners)
