Once every couple of years, someone you know will decide they are serious about photography. They will publicly share their deeply unimpressive photos and you will have to pretend they are good. Don't worry, it usually passes in time.

though it was my wife going through the carefully archived pics looking for photos of an event and querying my (or her) sanity on finding many, many photos of a single doorknob* that was funniest.

* I was learning how multilight flashes interacted and needed something stationary and spherical-ish. I do agree that it was Actually Odd, though not intended to be seen by anyone else
