There’s definitely a thing where some people can usefully gauge the quality of a film/series just from its title & thumbnail (or opening titles), and some can't

@mattround this is where pre-title action sequences (in my brain firmly associated with early Bond films) can oversell a film badly.
also some Awesome Title Sequences appear to have consumed around 80% of both CGI and music budgets, possibly due to being used to mop up any spare investor cash at the end, possibly due to being done first by accident
