I'm revisiting the 1990s today. I played these two albums *a lot* back then. The days of samples and hip-hop. Pine won a Music of Black Origin Award for best jazz act for the 'Jazz Stories' album.

@Richard_Littler fondest live-gig memory was getting told off by Courtney Pine's keyboard player for having my feet up on his monitor speaker (Ronnie Scotts in Brum, some time in the 90s, seated stage-side downstairs) and then getting to listen to "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" played as soulfully as I believe it is possible.
