one of the most fun things I have ever discovered in the industrial space is that there are gas detector systems for pretty much everything and anything, up to and including farts and "fish freshness".
Initial holds at least a dozen patents on systems for measuring the smell of piss.

this is Initial though, so those are probabluly hooked up to a 2-way price-controlled output that either flushes or squirts "flower" smell depending on the current cost overhead of sprays vs cleaning fluid...
@evilstevie pretty much. one of the ones I looked at for stadiums was designed to minimise the use of odour control fluids and cleaner hours, and was tied into a cloud platform for managing refill deliveries.
