Car speedometers should run from 0 to 90 mph. This would give more space on the dial for the range of speeds cars actually travel at and therefore allow drivers to monitor their speed more accurately.

@anon_opin US cars in the 80s had a speedo range limit of 85mph on the dial.
didn't really have the effect you consider, plus lot of new cars now have digital dashes, so wouldn't really be as useful.
