Love to live in a functional country with functional infrastructure where it is cheaper to buy multiple singles for multiple "journeys" between stations on the same route, all while staying on the same train.
Somehow it is £15 cheaper to buy a ticket from London to Peterborough then Peterborough to Doncaster while staying on the same train in the same prebooked seat than it is to just buy the ticket straight to Doncaster. Make it make sense.
@stavvers rail company trying to make Peterborough look popular? maybe incentives for retaining use of a particular station? maybe just really crap algorithm for pricing though
